Special meeting on Political Solution to Etnic Crisis based on the Lessons Learned and Reconciliation Commission Report (LLRC)

A special meeting on Lessons Learned and Reconciliation Commission Report (LLRC) was held in Ampara District today (06th July, Monday) at the SWOAD Auditorium.

The event was chaired by the National Convener of the National Fisheries Solidarity Movement, Mr. Herman Kumara and many men and women religious leaders, representatives, and social activists participated in the meeting.

The National Convener of the National Fisheries Solidarity Movement, Herman Kumara, attended and graced the event as the chief guest.

The guests of honor were Mrs. Deepa Suba, Women’s Project Coordinator of the National Fisheries Solidarity Movement, Kalandar Issatheen, Coordinator of the Ampara District Fisheries Solidarity movement Ampara District Field Officer K. Gokulan, Batticaloa District Fisheries Solidarity movement Coordinator M.N.A. Nuzaik and Trincomalee District Fisheries Solidarity movement Coordinator H.W. Nisaka Rangani participated in this meeting.

In this meeting, Ampara District, the lessons learned from the current government system in the country can be seen in the destructions that have taken place in the country, agreements and fundamental rights are being denied. As ethnic and religious conflicts have increased in rural areas, the ruling elites are showing the people on the sidelines of their powers, normal life has been greatly affected, and complete ethnic and religious harmony. is being destroyed. It was emphasized that an immediate solution should be found for this.

The lesson we have learned from the rulers who blindly tried to destroy an ethnic group by blindly showing people the people’s rights is that we must come together and create ethnic and religious harmony in our district.

It was pointed out that safe housing facilities for families affected by the war and living below the poverty line are still a long way off. Justice must be provided to them. Preventing such incidents from happening again will set an example for future generations.

We are ready to bring these issues to the attention of the best authorities to provide a permanent solution to the conflicts and to create security at the local level without any ethnic or religious differences. WP Heman Kumara said here,

At the conclusion of this meeting, some resolutions were passed regarding the future work we will do together to win the rights of men, women, civil society organizations, and religious leaders, and to ensure that we will obtain a memorandum and signature in this regard and submit it to the government.

இந்த நிகழ்வில் வளவாளராக தேசிய மீனவ ஒத்தழைப்பு இயக்கத்தின் தேசிய அமைப்பாளர் திரு :- Herman kumara தலைமையில் நடைபெற்ற இக்கூட்டத்தில், ஆண்கள், பெண் சமய மத குருமார்கள் , பிரதிநிதிகள், சமூக ஆர்வலர்கள் எனப் பலரும் கலந்துகொண்டனர்.

இந்நிகழ்வில் பிரதம அதிதியாக தேசிய மீனவ ஒத்துழைப்பு இயக்கத்தின் தேசிய அமைப்பாளர் திரு. ஹேமன் குமார கலந்துகொண்டு சிறப்பித்தார்.

இக்கூட்டத்தில் அம்பாறை மாவட்ட தற்போதைய நாட்டின் பல்வேறு அரசில் அமைப்பின் கற்றுக் கொண்ட பாடம் தொடர்பாக நாட்டில் நடைபெற்ற அழிவுகள் ,ஒப்பந்தங்கள் அடிப்படை உரிமைகள் மறுக்கப்பட்டுவருவதை காணமுடிகிறது அதில் தேர்தலில் பல வகையான முன்மொழிவுகளை சொல்லி அதிகாரங்களுக்கு வருகிறார்கள் அதன் அவர்கள் ஆட்சி முறை மாறுகிறது அந்த சூழ்நிலையில் தாம் எதிர் நோக்கும் பிரச்சினைகள் மற்றும் சவால்களை தீர்வுகிடையாது ,அதன் பின் இன , மத முருகள் கிராமப்புறங்களில் அதிகரித்துள்ளதால்,ஆட்சி ஆளுமைகள் தனதுஅதிகாரங்களின் ஊடக மக்களை ஓரம் காட்டுவது இயல்பு வாழ்க்கை பெரிதும் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதுடன், முற்றாக இன மத நல்லிணக்கம. ஒன்றில் அழிக்கப்பட்டு வருகின்றன. இதற்கு உடனடித் தீர்வு காணப்பட வேண்டும் என வலியுறுத்தப்பட்டது.

ජනතාවගේ අයිතිවාසිකම් අන්ධ ලෙස ජනතාවට පෙන්වීමෙන් අන්ධ ලෙස ජනවාර්ගික කණ්ඩායමක් විනාශ කිරීමට උත්සාහ කළ පාලකයන්ගෙන් අප ඉගෙන ගත් පාඩම නම්, අප එකට එකතු වී අපගේ දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ ජනවාර්ගික හා ආගමික සහජීවනය ඇති කළ යුතු බවයි.
