workshop was held related to the Northern Province Fisher People Unity in Mannr
district on 16 November, 2021. It had a wider discussion about the structure of
the Unity, the way of functioning it as well as it gathered information in
relation to the reflection of the fisher communities in the Mannr district in
the workshop.
The
representatives shared their ideas about the strength, weakness, threats and
opportunities of the Northern Province Fisher People Unity. Mr. Anthony Sankar,
Secretary of Northern Province Fisher People Unity, Mr. Alam, Former chairperson
of the unity, Mr. Kamaladas, Mrs.Thadsajini
Thavachselvam, Animator of Jaffna District Fisheries Solidarity, Mr. Benedict
Croos, District Coordinator of Mannar District Fisheries Solidarity and Mrs.
Marry Priyantha, Animator of Mannar District Fisheries Solidarity participated
in the workshop.
උතුරු පළාත් ධීවර ජනතා එකතුවේ දිස්ත්‍රික් වැඩමුළුව මන්නාරම් දිස්ත්‍රික්කය ඉලක්ක කරගනිමින් 2021 නොවැම්බර් 16 වන දින සංවිධානය කෙරිණි. මෙහිදි උතුරු පළාත් ධීවර ජනතා එකතුවේ සැකැස්ම, කාර්යය පිළිබඳව සාකච්ඡා කළ අතර හා ධීවර ප්‍රජාවගේ අදහස් මන්නාරම් දිස්ත්‍රික්කය කේන්ද්‍ර කරගනිමින් ලබා ගන්නා ලදී. මෙහිදි සහභාගිකයින් විසින් උතුරු පළාත් ධීවර එකතුවේ ශක්තීන් බාධක අවස්ථා මෙන්ම දුර්වලතා පිළිබඳව අදහස් බෙදා ගන්නා ලදී. මෙම අවස්ථාව සඳහා උතුරු පළාත් ධීවර එකතුවේ ලේකම් ඇන්තනී සන්කර් මහතා ද උතුරු පළාත් ධීවර එකතුවේ හිටපු සභාපති ආලම් මහතා ද ව්‍යාපෘතියේ කමලදාස් මහතා ද ව්‍යාපෘතියේ උතුරු පළාත් සම්බන්ධාකාරක තඩ්සාජනි තවච්චෙල්ලම් මෙනවිය ද මන්නාරම් දිස්ත්‍රික් සම්බන්ධිකාරක බෙනඩික් කෲස් මහතා ද මෙරී ප්‍රියන්තා ද යන මහත්ම මහත්මීන් මෙම අවස්ථාව සඳහා සහභාගි වූහ.
வுடமாகாண மீனவ ஒன்றியத்தின் மாவட்ட செயலமர்வு மன்னார் மாவட்டத்தை மையமாகக் கொண்டு 2021 கார்த்திகை 16ம் திகதி ஒழுங்கு செய்யப்பட்டது. இங்கு வடமாகாண மீனவ ஒன்றியத்தின் திட்டம், செயற்பாடு தொடர்பாக உரையாடியதோடு மீனவ மக்களின் கருத்துகள் மன்னார் மாவட்டத்தில் பெற்று கொள்ளப்பட்டது. இங்கு பங்குபற்றியவர்கள் மூலம் வடமாகாண மீனவ ஒன்றியத்தின் சக்தி, தடைகள் போலவே பலவீனம் தொடர்பாக கருத்துகள் முன் வைக்கப்பட்டன. இந்த சந்தர்ப்பத்தில் வடமாகாண மீனவ ஒன்றியத்தின் செயலாளர் திரு. அன்டனி சன்கர், வடமாகாண மீனவ ஒன்றியத்தின் முன்னால் தலைவர் ஆலாம், கருத்திட்டத்தில் திரு. கமலதாஸ், கருத்திட்டத்தின் வடமாகாண இணைப்பாளர் செல்வி. தட்சாயினி தவச்செல்வம், மன்னார் மாவட்ட இணைப்பாளர் திரு. பெனடிக் குரூஸ், திருமதி. மேரி பிரியந்தா ஆகியோர் இச்சந்தர்ப்பத்தில் கலந்துக் கொண்டனர்.
