Media conference , අම්පාර දිස්ත්‍රික් ධීවර වෘත්තීය සමිති මාධ්‍ය සාකච්ඡාව

Fisher Union attached to Ampara District Fisheries Solidarity convened a media
conference to do mainstream the issues that fisher communities are facing in
the existing pandemic context on 11, November 2020. As a result of finding
virus positive patients in the fish market in Paliayagoda, an incorrect idea
was spread among the people as fish communicate the Coron virus among the
people. Therefore, people gave up or limited the fish consumption. That
negative attitude of the people directly creates an impact for the fish market
overall fisheries industry. This is a common situation of the whole country.
This impact directly influenced to the fisher communities in Ampara district
also. National Fisher Union planned to take an action to send a message for the
authorities. Mr. A.K. Jamaldeen, Mr. M.H. Mubarak, Regional Fisheries
Organization, Mr. K. Isadeen, District Coordinator of Ampara District Fisheries
Solidarity and Mr. Munchirala Samasiri, Panampaththu Protection Organization addressed
the media regarding the difficulties that fisher communities are facing in the
district.
පෑලියගොඩ මත්ස්‍ය වෙළදපොළින් කොරෝනා රෝගීන් හමුවීමත් සමග රටේ ජනතාව මත්ස්‍ය පරිභෝජනය පිළිබදව අනසි බියක් ඇති කරගෙන සිටින බවත් මසුන් අනුභව කිරීම මගින් කොරෝනා වෛරසය ව්‍යාපාප්ත වෙනවාය යන්න හිස් බියක් ද මේ වන විට සමාජ ගතව ඇත. මේනිසා රයේ ධීවර කර්මාන්තයේ යෙදී සිටින ධීවර ප්‍රජාව දැඩි දුෂ්කරතාවයකට හා මානසික පීඩනයට ලක්ව ඇත්තේ අල්ලා ගත් මත්ස්‍ය අස්වැන්න කෙසේ හෝ විකුණා ගැනීමට නොහැකි වීම නිසා ය. මේ තත්ත්වය රටේ අනෙකුත් ධීවරයින්ට මෙන්ම උතුරු නැගෙනහිර ධීවරයින්ට ද පොදු ය. මේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් මාධ්‍ය දැනුවත් කිරීම සදහා ඒ.කේ ජමල්ඩීන් මහතා ද ග්‍රාමීය ධීවර සංවිධානය නියෝජනය කරමින් එම්.එච් මුබාරක් මහතා දඅම්පාර දිස්ත්‍රික් සම්බන්ධිකාරක කේ.ඉසදීන් මහතා ද කේ.එල් නජිමුදීන් මහතා ද පානම ගම්මානය නියෝජනය කරමින් පුංචිරාල සෝමසිරි මහතා ද මෙම මාධ්‍ය සාකච්ඡාව සදහා එක් වූහ.
