The Annual Evaluation and Planning session for the forthcoming year of the National Fisheries Union was held on 20th and 21st December 2021,ජාතික ධීවර වෘත්තීය සමිතියේ වාර්ෂික ඇගයීම හා ඉදිරි වැඩ සැලසුම් සඳහා වන වැඩමුළුව

The annual Planning and evaluation of the Fisheries Union Units
established in  number of districts was
held at the Ecumenical Institute for Study & Dialogue on 20^th
and 21^st December, with the participation of selected district
leaders, staff members and  the National
Convener of National Fisheries Solidarity. The main objective of this workshop
was to turn back and see the path where the Union had been treading, identify
deviations and shortcomings, and create a action plan for the coming year. It
was discussed in length of the inactive nature of the National Fisher Union for
some time and the present situation  as
well as clarified the role of the National Fisher Union.

 There were number of
suggestions and proposals emerged in view of the upcoming years and most of
them were integrated in the Action Plan. This Plan focused on 06 months and the
participants agreed to have review 
workshop taking into consideration all challenges, threats and weakness
encountered and come out with an update Action Plan for the upcoming six
months. The main focus on planning was to reactivate and revitalize the Unions
Units in 2022, the role and activities of Fisher Unions during the
International Year of Artisanal Fisheries 
and Aquaculture 2022, along with the three key prominent issues namely
the usage of illegal fishing gear, Agreement of International Labor
Organization and the encroachments by the Indian Trawling. At last the
celebration of workers day on May 01^st was  also discussed. The national Convener of
National Fisheries Solidarity Mr.Herman Kumara, staff members Mr.Priyankara
Costa , Mr.Anthony Jesudasan, Mr.Francis Rajana contributed to the workshop as
resource persons while Mrs.Laveena Hasanthi coordinated the logistics and other
facilities along with the District coordinators. 

ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයට අයත් දිස්ත්‍රික්ක ගණනාවක ස්ථාපිත ධීවර වෘත්තිය සමිතිය ව්‍යාපාරවල වාර්ෂික ඇගයීම හා සැලසුම් කිරීම පිළිබඳව දෙදින වැඩමුළුවක් එම වෘත්තීය සමිතිවල තෝරාගත් නායකයින් සහ ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ කාර්ය මණ්ඩලයේ සාමාජික සාමාජිකාවන් සමඟ ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ ජාතික කැඳවුම්කාරතුමාගේ සහභාගිත්වයෙන් 2021 දෙසැම්බර් මස 20/21 යන වන දින කොළඹEcumenical
Institute for Study Dialogue ආයතනයේදී  පැවැත්විණි. ජාතික ධීවර වෘත්තීය ගමන් මඟ පිළිබඳව හැරී බැලීමත් දුර්වලතා මඟ හරවා ගනිමින් එළශෙන 2022 වර්ෂයේදී ජාතික ධීවර වෘත්තීය සමිතියේ ක්‍රියාකාරි සැලැස්මක් නිර්මාණය කර ගැනීම මෙම වැඩසටහනේ මූලික අරමුණ වේ. කලක් අක්‍රීයව පැවැති ජාතික ධීවර වෘත්තිය සමිතියේ වත්මන් තත්ත්වය සම්බන්ධයෙන් මෙහිදි සාකච්ඡා කළ අතර ජාතික ධීවර සමිතියේ කාර්යභාර්ය සම්බන්ධයෙන් මෙහිදි සාකච්ඡා විය. මෙහිදි ජාතික ධීවර වෘත්තීය සමිතියේ ඉදිරි ක්‍රියාකාරිත්වය සම්බන්ධයෙන් විවිධ යෝජනා මතු වු අතර ඒ පදනම් කරගෙන ඉදිරි යෝජනා සැලැස්ම නිර්මාණය විය. දැනට දිස්ත්‍රික්ක කිහිපයක ක්‍රියාත්මක වන ජාතික ධිවර වෘත්තීය සමිතියේ ශක්තීන් දුර්වලතා ඉදිරියේ ඇති විය හැකි තර්ජන මෙන් ම ඉදිරියේ ක්‍රියාත්මක විය යුතු ආකාරය පිළිබඳව මෙහිදි සාකච්ඡා විය. ජාතික ධිවර වෘත්තීය සමිති ව්‍යාපාරයේ ඉදිරි ක්‍රියාකාරිත්වය සඳහා මාස 06 වැඩ සැලැස්ම පිළිබඳව මෙහිදි සාකච්ඡා කළ අතර නැවත මාස 06 පසු ඇගයීම් වැඩමුළුවක් පවත්වා ඉදිරි මාස සඳහා ක්‍රියාකාරි සැලැස්මක් නිර්මාණය කිරීමට යෝජනා විය. මෙම වැඩසටහන සඳහා ජාතික ධීවර වෘත්තීය සමිතිවල නියෝජිතයින් සහභාගි වූහ. මෙහිදි දිස්ත්‍රික්කවල සක්‍රීයව ජාතික ධීවර වෘත්තීය සමිතිය ගොඩනැගීම ද 2022 සුළුපන්න ධීවර වර්ෂය වෙනුවෙන් ධීවර වෘත්තීය සමිති ව්‍යාපාරයෙක් ලෙස දිස්ත්‍රික්ක මට්ටමින් සිදුකරන වැඩසටහන් සම්බන්ධයෙන් ද සාකච්ඡා කළ අතර විශේෂයෙන් ප්‍රධාන ගැටලු 03 වෙනුවෙන් ලිපි මඟින් දැනුවත් කරන්නට කටයුතු සලස්වන්නට තීරණය විය. එනම්,තහනම් ආම්පන්න භාවිතය, ජාත්‍යන්තර කම්කරු සම්මුතිය පිළිබඳව සහ ඉන්දීය ට්‍රෝලින් ආක්‍රමණය පිළිබඳ ගැටලු සඳහා යෝජනා විය. අවසන් වශයෙන් මැයි දිනය සැමරීම පිළිබඳව මෙහිදි සාකච්ඡා විය. ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ ජාතික කැඳවුම්කරු හර්මන් කුමාර මහතා ද ඇන්තනී ජේසුදාසන් මහතා ද ප්‍රියංකර කොස්තා මහතා ද නාලක රොසයිරෝ මහතා ද ප්‍රැන්සිස් රාජන් මහතා ද සම්පත්දායකත්වයෙන් සම්බන්ධ වු අතර පහසුකම් සැලසීමෙන් ලවීනා හසන්ති මහත්මිය  සම්බන්ධ වූහ. මේ අවස්ථාව සඳහා දිස්ත්‍රික්ක ධීවර වෘත්තීය සමිතිවල නායකයින් මෙන් ම සම්බන්ධිකාරකවරුන් හා සම්බන්ධිකාරවරින් ද සම්බන්ධ වූහ.
