This round
table discussion was organized by the Batticaloa District Fisheries Solidarity
movement together with the National Fisheries Solidarity took place at the
Cooperative Conference Hall, Batticaloa.
It was a
forum of face to face where the affected communities, their leaders and
representatives met the government officers and shared their problems and the pressing
issues while drawing the attention of the members of the Parliament, the
representatives of the public. It was quite interesting to note the
participation of the government representatives of the District Fisheries
Department Mr.K.Amirthalingam,, District Land Officer Mrs.Kugatha Eshwaran ,
Dsitrict Women Development Officer Ms.Arunalini, Child Development Officer Mrs.Arusakumari,
the secretary of the Parliamentarian Mr.Shnakkiya , Mr.Madimohan, Secretary of
the State Minister Vilayendran, Mr.Rosmand, the President of the Eravur Local
Government Mr. Sarvanandan and the officers
of the Amarumalachchi Women Organization and the representatives of
rural women organizations.
At this
forum people were able to present their issues and the pressing needs directly
to the officers and they were able to
respond to the queries of people then and there. A survey Report of all the issues was handed over to the
Officers by the people representatives. Over all coordination of the even was
done by the Batticaloa District Fisheries Membership along with the Program
Coordinator for Peace ,Reconciliation and sustainable development ,of NAFSO
Mr,Anthony Jesudasan and the Coordinator of Women Affairs Mrs.Laveena Hasanthi.
ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරය සහ මඩකලපුව දිස්ත්‍රික් ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරය සමඟ ඒකාබද්ධ වෙමින් සංවිධානය කළ වටමේස සාකච්ඡාව 2021 දෙසැම්බර් මස 17 වන දින මඩකලපුව සමූපකාර ශාලාවේදී පැවැත්විණ.
මෙම අවස්ථාවට ජනතා නියෝජිතයින් රාජ්‍ය නිලධාරීන් සහ බලපෑමට ලක් වු ජනතාව සමඟ එක්ව ජනතාවගේ ගැටලු හා ඔවුන් මුහුණ දෙන පීඩාකාර තත්ත්ව සම්බන්ධයෙන් ගත හැකි ප්‍රායෝගික විසඳුම් සම්බන්ධයෙන් මුහුණට මුහුණ ලා සාකච්ඡා කළ අතර ජනතා නියෝජිතයින් මේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් ඔවුන්ගේ අවධානය යොමු කළහ. මෙම අවස්ථාව සඳහා රාජ්‍ය යාන්ත්‍රණය නියෝජනය කරමින් දිස්ත්‍රික් ධීවර කටයුතු පිළිබඳ දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ නිලධාරී කේ.අමිර්තලින්ගම් මහතා ද දිස්ත්‍රික් ඉඩම් නිලධාරි නිලධාරි කුගතා ඊශ්වරන් මහත්මිය ද දිස්ත්‍රික් කාන්තා සංවර්ධන නිලධාරිනි අරුණාලිනි මහත්මිය ද ළමා සංවර්ධන නිලධාරී ආරාසුකුමාරි පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රි ශානක්කියගේ ලේකම් මදිමෝහන් රාජ්‍ය ඇමති වියාලේන්ද්‍රන්ගේ ලේකම් රොස්මන් ඒරාවුර් ප්‍රාදේශීය සභාවේ සභාපති එස්.සර්වානන්දන් මහතා සහ අමරුමලච්චි කාන්තා ව්‍යාපාරයේ නිලධාරි මණ්ඩලයේ ග්‍රාමීය කාන්තා සංවිධානවල සාමාජිකාවන් සහභාගි වූ
මෙහිදි ජනතාව මුහුණ දෙන ප්‍රශ්න පිළිබඳව අදහස් ඉදිරිපත් කළ අතර මේ ඉදිරිපත් කළ කරුණු සම්බන්ධව නිලධාරීන් තමන්ගේ අදහස් ද ඉදිරිපත් කළහ. ඒත් සමඟ ප්‍රශ්න ගැටලු ගොනු කළ සමීක්‍ෂණ වාර්තාවක් ජනතාව නිලධාරීන්ට ලබා දුන්නේ ය. මෙම අවස්ථාව සඳහා මඩකලපුව දිස්ත්‍රික් ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ දිස්ත්‍රික් සාමාජිකත්වය මෙන් ම ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ සාමය හා තිරසර සංවර්ධනය සඳහා ජනතා අතර සංවාදයේ වැඩසටහන් සම්බන්ධිකාරක ඇන්තනී ජේසුදාසන් මහතා ද කාන්තා කටයුතු සම්බන්ධිකාරිනි ලවීනා හසන්ති මහත්මිය ද මෙම අවස්ථාවට සම්බන්ධ වූහ.
