Mr. Thanikasalam, Representative of Mullaitivu District and Mrs. Rita Vasanthi, Deputy Secretary of Mannar District were elected as District Presidents.
For this, the Jaffna district Mr. Muralidharan, Mr. Amaladas of Mannar District have been elected as media spokesman and 16 members including Mr. Anrani Shankar, Mr. Mullaitivu A. Nanthanalingam and Mr. Annalingam Annarasa have been elected as committee members.
56 representatives from the districts of Jaffna, Kilinochchi, Mullaitivu, Mannar participated in this event representing the Northern Province and Mr. Kalanithi Soosaidasan participated as the chief guest and the participation of Mr. Herman Kumara, the National convener of the National Fisheries Solidarity Movement.
Furthermore, Kilinochchi Fisheries Cooperative Society felicitated scholars, leaders from the fishing communities.Retired Prof. S. Soosaiananthan of University of Jaffna, A. Rajachandran of Gurunagar, A. Annarasa of Jaffna, S.Sankar of Mannar were among the felicitated leaders. 
මේ සඳහා යාපනය දිස්ත්රික්කයෙන් ඊ. මුරලිදරන් මහතා, මන්නාරම දිස්ත්රික්කයේ අමලදාස් මහතා මාධ්ය ප්රකාශක ලෙස ද, අන්රානි ශංකර් මහතා, මුලතිව් ඒ නටනලිංගම් සහ අන්නාලිංගම් අන්නාරාසා මහතා ඇතුළු 16 දෙනෙකු කාරක සභිකයන් ලෙස තෝරාපත් කරගෙන ඇත.
