While the members of the NAFSO network are developing home garden
in their land especially in the country side, the members of town side also
develop home garden managing their small space with new methods. Sri Vimukthi
Fisher Women Organization encouraged their members to develop urban home
garden. With the direction of the organization, members have started developing
their home gardens. Technical knowledge and seeds have been given to the
members to develop urban home garden. The staff of the Sri Vimukthi Fisher
Women Organization visits the home garden and advises when it needed to develop
it. Mrs. Jayanthi and Mrs. Deepa, members of Sri Vimukthi Fisher Women
Organization have developed their garden with the direction of the
organization.
