වත්මන් නාගරීකරණය හමුවේ පරිසරයට මිනිසා විසින් එකතු කරන අපද්‍රව්‍ය බොහෝ ය. මේ අපද්‍රව්‍ය හේතුවෙන් අද වන විට පරිසරය මුළුමනින්ම විනාශයට පත් කොට ඇත. මෙහිදි විශේෂයෙන් වෙරළාසන්න ප්‍රදේශවල ජනතාව මෙන්ම ධීවර යාත්‍රා මඟින් ඉවත් කරන අපද්‍රව්‍ය අතිවිශාලය මේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් අවධානය යොමු කළ මීගමුව ශ්‍රී විමුක්ති ධීවර කාන්තා සංවිධානය හදියත් කළ ශ්‍රමාදන ව්‍යාපාරය 2021 නොවැම්බර් 07 වන ඉරුදින කුඩාපාඩුව ප්‍රදේශයේදී පැවැත්විණ. මෙම අවස්ථාව සඳහා ශ්‍රී විමුක්ති තරුණ කැල මෙන් ම රතු කුරුස සංවිධානය, අවතැන්වු ජනතාව, මීගමුව සංචාරක පොලිසිය, මීගමුව නගර සභාවේ නියෝජිතයින් සහ මුස්ලීම් ප්‍රජාව ද සම්බන්ධ වූහ. පවතින වැසි සහිත අයහපත් කාලගුණය නොතකා විශාල පිරිසක් සම්බන්ධ වී පරිසරය අලංකාර කරන්නට දැක්වු සහයෝගය අතිශය අගය කළ යුතුය.
People are adding a lot of waste into the environment due to the
urbanization. Adding waste is destroying
the environment as well as beauty of it gradually. This is a serious situation in the fisheries
community because fisherman adds large amount of fisher wastes in to the beach
environment daily. This is a complicated situation in the area of Negombo. After considering this situation, Sri Vimukthi
Fisher Women Organization organized a rendering free service with the
collaboration of youth, member of Red Cross society, foreign refugees, Police,
representatives of Urban council and Muslim community in Kudapaduwa on 7
November 2021. There was large number of participants in the midst of heavy
rain even.
