The executive committee of Vadamahana Pengal Kural (VPK- Voice of Northern Province Women) was held at Subash Hotel, Jaffna with the participation of 15 women and 5 men today. The whole exco team met after 4 months formally due to practical difficulties, but after the communication training program held at Mannar last October.
The exco discussed following points at the meeting and decided to implement the programs both district basis as well as collectively as VPK.
* Mediate Children's education, transportation, and spreading drug issues around schools,
* Building membership and work unitedly within district women federations in 4 districts,
* Conduct International Human Rights Day on 11th December collectively as VPK and Northern Province Women Federation at Jaffna.
* Implement Self Help program among 80 women, the women headed households which is supported by WhyHunger program by early January, 2024.
(උතුරු පළාත් කාන්තා හඬ) සංවිධානයේ විධායක කමිටු සභාව 2023 දෙසැම්බර් 03 දින යාපනයේ සුභාෂ් හෝටලයේදී පවත්වනු ලැබූ අතර මෙයට කාන්තාවන් 15 දෙනෙකු සහ මහත්වරුන් 05දෙනෙකුත් සහභාගී විය.
මෙහිදී පහත සඳහන් කරුණු සාකඡ්චා කල අතර මෙම වැඩහටහන දිස්ත්‍රික්ක පදනමින් මෙන්ම VPK සංවිධානය නියෝජනය වන පරිදි සාමූහිකව ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීමට තීරණය කරන ලදී.
* දිස්ත්‍රික්ක පදනම මත, 2023 නව යෝජිත ධිවර පනත හා අත්සන් ව්‍යාපාරයක් මගින් සම්බන්ද වීම.
* දරුවන්ගේ පාසල් අධ්‍යාපන, ප්‍රවාහනය සහ පාසල් අවට මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය ව්‍යාප්ත කිරීමේ ගැටලුකාරී තත්ත්වයන් සඳහා මැදිහත් වීම.
* දිස්ත්‍රික්ක 04 ක කාන්තා සම්මේලන තුල සාමාජිකත්ව ගොඩනැගීම සහ ඔවුන් සමග එක්සත්ව කටයුතු කිරීම.
* දෙසැම්බර් 11 දිනට යෙදෙන ජ්‍යාත්‍යන්තර මානව හිමිකම් දිනය, උතුරු පළාත් කාන්තා සම්මේලනය සහ VPK සංවිධානය සමග එක්ව යාපනයේදී සාමූහිකව පැවැත්වීම.
