Representatives of The National Fisheries Cooperation Movement (NAFSO) from Mannar district organized a signature campaign in Mannar city on Saturday 20th July. The signature campaign was held demanding that the MPs fulfill the promises made to the people during the elections and that it should be passed as a law of parliament in this regard. Representatives of fisheries organizations, youth and women were also present on the occasion.
ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගීතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ (නැෆ්සෝ) මන්නාරම දිස්ත්‍රික්ක නියෝජිතවරුන් එක් වී ජුලී මස 20 වැනි සෙනසුරාදා පෙරවරුවේ මන්නාරම් නගරයේදී අත්සන් ලබාගැනීමේ ව්‍යාපාරයක් පවැත්වූහ. පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රීවරුන් මැතිවරණ සමයේ ජනතාවට දුන් පොරොන්දු ඉටුකරන ලෙස හා එයට අදාළව පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ නීතයක් ද සම්මත කළ යුතු බවට ඉල්ලමින් මෙම අත්සන් ව්‍යාපාරය පවත්වන ලදී. මෙම අවස්ථාවට ධීවර සංවිධාන නියෝජිතයින්, තරුණ තරුණියන් සහ කාන්තා නියෝජිතයින් ද එක් වී තිබීම විශේෂත්වයකි.
