,Providing equipment and animals for the livelihood upliftment of housewives in Kilinochchi Districtගෘහ
ගෘහමූලික කාන්තාවන් ට උපකරණ හා සතුන් ලබා දීම
Empowering the fundamental rights
of women and empowering them to uplift their livelihood is a significant role
of the women’s movement of the National Fisheries Solidarity Movement. Realizing this task, the National Fisheries
Solidarity Movement provided livelihood assistance to 15 housewives and
selected women leaders from 06 selected villages in the Kilinochchi District on
October 20, 2020. The event was held at the Kilinochchi District Fisheries
Office.
In the Kilinochchi District
mainly fishing, animal husbandry, goat and poultry are also found in the coir
industry and housewives are also engaged in these industries. In order to
empower the livelihood of women, equipment and animals were provided to improve
their livelihoods through these industries.
Today, Kilinochchi Rural Women’s
Committees create district women’s activities and encourage women’s income
streams. The main objective of this program is to create a self-sufficient by
raising the income level of the housewife in Kilinochchi.
Mrs. Lavina Hasanthi, Women’s
Affairs Coordinator of the National Fisheries Cooperation Movement, Mr. Anthony
Jesudasan, Coordinator of Peace and Reconciliation for the People, Mr.
Sadishwaram, Coordinator of the Kilinochchi District and Mr. Amalajivani and
Jayarani, two community animators were also present on the occasion.
කාන්තාවන්ගේ මූලික අයිතිවාසිකම් වෙනුවෙන් පෙනී සිටිමින් ඔවුන් බලසතු කිරීම ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ කාන්තා අංශයේ සුවිශේෂි කාර්යභාර්යක් වන්නාසේම එම කාන්තාවන්ගේ ජිවන මාර්ග නගා සිටුවීම බලසතු කිරීම ද සුවිශේෂි කාර්යභාර්යකි. එම කාර්යය නිවැරදිව වටහා ගත් ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරය විසින් ගෘහමූලික කාන්තාවන්ගේ ජිවනෝපාය හා ආර්ථිකය නගා සිටුවිමේ අරමුණ ඇතිව ඔවුන්ගේ ආර්ථිකය ඇතුළු ජිවනමාර්ග සදහා අතදීමක් වශයෙන් කිලිනොච්චි දිස්ති‍්‍රක් තෝරාගත් ගම්මාන 06 කින් ගෘහමූලික කාන්තාවෝ 15 දෙනෙකුට සහ තෝරාගත් කාන්තා නායිකාවන් කිහිපදෙනෙකු සදහා ජිවනෝපා ආධාර ලබා දීම 2020 ඔක්තෝම්බර් මස 20 වන දින කිලිනොච්චි දිස්ති‍්‍රක් ධීවර කාර්යාලයේදී පැවැත්විණි. මෙම අවස්ථාව සදහා ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ කාන්තා කටයුතු සම්බන්ධිකාරිකා ලවීනා හසන්ති මහත්මිය සහ එම සංවිධානයේ ජනතාව සහ ජනතාව අතර සාමය සහ සන්හිදියාව ගොඩනැගීමේ සම්බන්ධිකාරක ඇන්තනී ජේසුදාසන් මහතා ද කිලිනොච්චි දිස්ති‍්‍රක්කයේ සම්බන්ධිකාරක සදීෂ්වරම් මහතා ද සජිවිකාවන් දෙපලක් වන අමලජිවනි සහ ජයරානි යන මහත් මහත්මීන සම්බන්ධ වූහ. කිලිනොච්චි දිස්ති‍්‍රක්කයේ ප‍්‍රධාන වශයෙන් ධීවර කර්මාන්තය, සත්ත්ව පාලනය ඒ යටතේ එළුවන් හා කුකුළු පාලනය ද කොහු කර්මාන්තයේද දක්නට ලැබෙන අතර ගෘහමූලික කාන්තාවෝද මෙම කර්මාන්තවල නියැලේ. කාන්තාවන්ගේ ජිවනෝපය බලසතු කිරිම උදෙසා මෙම කර්මාන්ත හරහා ස්වකීය ජිවනමාර්ග දියුණු කර ගැනීම සදහා උපකරණ හා සතුන් ලබා දීම සිදු කෙරිණි. අද වන විට කිලිනොච්චි ග‍්‍රාමීය කාන්තාවන් කමිටු හරහා දිස්ති‍්‍රක් කාන්තා කි‍්‍රයාකාරිත්වයක් නිර්මාණය කර එම කාන්තාවන්ගේ ආදයම් මාර්ග සදහා දිරි දීමක් ද මේ හරහා සිදු වේ. කිලිනොච්චි ගෘහමූලිකා කාන්තාවන්ගේ ජිවනෝපාය නැන්වීම හරහා ඔවුන්ගේ ආදායම් තත්ත්වය ද ඉහල නන්වා ස්වයංපෝෂිත ගෘහමූලික කාන්තාවන් නිර්මාණයක කිරීම මෙහි ප‍්‍රධන අරමුණක් වේ.
