NAFSO Sri Lanka proudly moved to the next stage of our journey through the Peace Ambassador Training of Trainers

After the successful completion of the Peace Academy under the CPS Project, NAFSO Sri Lanka proudly moved to the next stage of our journey through the Peace Ambassador Training of Trainers , held from April 21–23 in Kurunegala under the theme:
“People-Led Peace: Building Leaders to Drive Change and Transform Communities for a United Sri Lanka.”
This program brought together participants from 12 districts across Sri Lanka, creating a diverse and inclusive space where Tamil- and Sinhala-speaking existing Peace Ambassadors, youth, women, and community leaders came together as one Peace Ambassador family.
Over the three days, participants strengthened their leadership, facilitation, and peacebuilding capacities while building deep connections, trust, solidarity, and strong networks with one another. Together, they learned, reflected, shared experiences, and prepared themselves to become future trainers and leaders within their own communities.
United as one family, our Peace Ambassadors are now ready to lead change in their societies, expand peacebuilding efforts across districts, and create a lasting impact for peace, reconciliation, and social cohesion in Sri Lanka.
We sincerely thank the facilitators @Freddie Jayawardena and @Priyankara Costa, the organizers, and the participants whose commitment
and energy made this journey meaningful and successful.
Together, the journey continues.
