District Kilakku Suriyan District Women’s Organization’s District Team Meeting
was held on Thursday 23rd June 2022 in Akkaraipattu under the guidance of the
Women Section of the National Fisheries Solidarity Movement.
Economic
problems faced by women in the face of the severe economic crisis in the
country, especially the problem of clean drinking water and lack of
infrastructure facilities at the rural level and the human-elephant conflict
are prominent among these.
Proposals
to encourage women food producers in the Eastern Province were made at this
meeting, especially the women section of the National Fisheries Solidarity
Movement, discussed the livelihood plan etc. and repaired future plans for
women groups in the Province.
In
addition to that, it was decided to hold a discussion at the Eastern Provincial
Women’s Conference in July on raising awareness of the drinking water problem
at the rural level, discussing the livelihoods of the rural people and
proposals to encourage food producers.
A
plan for the next 03 months was prepared here. The village representatives were
guided by the Ampara District Coordinator Mr. Isaidin, and field Officer Mr. K.
Kokulan. Lavina Hasanthi the National
Fisheries Solidarity Movement Women’s Coordinator and Mr. Anthony Jesudasan
facilitated the meeting.
ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ කාන්තා අංශයේ මෙහෙයවීමෙන් හා මඟපෙන්වීමෙන් අම්පාර දිස්ත්‍රික් කිලක්කු සූරියන් දිස්ත්‍රික් කාන්තා සංවිධානයේ දිස්ත්‍රික් කණ්ඩායම් රැස්වීම 2022 ජුනි මස 23 වන බ්‍රහස්පතින්දා දින අක්කරෛයිපත්තුහි පැවැත්විණ. රටේ ඇති වී ඇති දරුණු ආර්ථික අර්බුදය හමුවේ කාන්තාවන් මුහුණ දෙන ආර්ථික ගැටලු, විශේෂයෙන්, ග්‍රාමීය මට්ටමේ පවතින පිරිසිදු පානීය ජල ගැටලුව හා යටිතල පහසුකම් නොමැතිකම හා අලි මිනිස් ගැටලුම් මේ අතර ප්‍රමුඛ වේ. නැගෙනහිර පළාත් කාන්තා ආහාර නිෂ්පාදකයින් දිරිමත් කිරීම සඳහා යෝජනා මෙහිදි ඉදිරිපත් කෙරුණි විශේෂයෙන් ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ කාන්තා අංශයේ විසින් ජිවනෝපාය සැලැස්ම යානාදිය පිළිබඳව මෙහිදි සාකච්ඡා කර අනාගත සැලසුම් පිළිබඳව තීරණ ගන්නා ලදී. ග්‍රාමීය මට්ටමින් පවතින පානීය ජල ගැටලුව පිළිබඳව නිලධාරීන් දැනුවත් කිරීම, ග්‍රාමිය ජනතාවගේ ජිවනෝපාය පිළිබඳව ග්‍රාමීය කණ්ඩායම් රැස්වීමේදී සාකච්ඡා කිරීම නැගෙනහිර පළාත් කාන්තා අංශයේ ආහාර නිෂ්පාදකයින් දිරිමත් කිරීමේ යෝජනා දියත් කිරීම පිළිබඳව නැගෙනහිර පළාත් කාන්තා සම්මේලනයේදී සාකච්ඡා කිරීම ජූලි මාසයේ සිදු කිරීමට තීරණය විය ඉදිරි මාස 03 සඳහා සැලැස්මක් සකස් කිරීම මෙහිදි සිදු කෙරිණි. මෙම රැස්වීම සඳහා ග්‍රාමීය නියෝජිතයින් අම්පාර දිස්ත්‍රික් සම්බන්ධිකාරක ඉසයිඩීන් මහතා ද කේෂත්‍ර නිලධාරි කේ කෝකුලන් මහතා ද ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ කාන්තා අංශයේ කාන්තා සම්බන්ධිකාරිනි ලවීනා හසන්ති මහත්මිය ද ඇන්තනී ජේසුදාසන් මහතා ද මඟපෙන්වීම් කළහ..
