How to use Social Media to minimize the plastic usage A Training workshop for district youth members of NAFSO

A training workshop was conducted at NAFSO training center for a group of district level youth members of NAFSO, on How to use social media to promote the idea of minimizing the usage of plastic, at the NAFSO training center on 17^th August 2020. 26 youth members (both girls and boys) from Matara, Galle, Kalutara, Pollonnaruwa, Kalpitiya-Puttlam,Mannar,Jaffna, Trincomalle, Killinochchi, Monaragala and Negombo districts  represented for the workshop.

Workshop presentations were on ‘How to develop a ‘Facebook page’, ‘How to maintain a Twitter Account Role of a Facebook Admin and’ ‘How to develop Facebook messages against the use of plastic’. Miss.Ishara Dhanasekara, Center for Policy alternative facilitated the workshop. Mr. Laksiri Fernando, NAFSO youth coordinator, Mr. Nalaka Rosiro, Advocacy and policy Coordinator, -NAFSO and Mr. Rajan NAFSO also participated the program.
