Meeting with Jaffna district members of Northern Fishers Alliance.
The main objective of the discussion was to identify the
means of work in the New Year on Indian trawling issue and other fisheries

situation in north is very troublesome for the people, even community cannot
gather to talk their common issues freely.

It has increased the invasion of Indian trawlers and also
illegal activities of fishers from south Sri Lanka. Northern fishers. NFA
decided to strengthen the activities to get a solution for these issues and
