We do not respect illegal NGO Circular

NGOs and CSO leaders who gathered at Fort railway station vowed not to
respect the NGO circular of the NGO secretariat dated 1st July.
The protestors accused the circular is beyond the mandate of the NGO secretariat and serious violation of fundamental rights.
This is clearly an indication of violation of the right to freedom of
expression and right to information. There were around 400 people,
religious leaders, NGO and CSO activists gathered and protested at fort.
At the end of the protest the NGO leaders burnt the NGO secretariat
circular and indicated we will not respect it.
